Before I take you through this journey, I would first like to share a li”le bit about why I started LIHT and how I think our products can help women all over the world achieve beautiful skin without compromising on their health. We all know how important having healthy skin is to us, and the impact it can have on our confidence – this is definitely true for me. When I was in my 20s, I suffered from a serious outbreak of acne. The condition was so bad that it spread all over my chest and back.
After countless different treatments, I eventually had to resort to visiting dermatologists for monthly injections of steroids directly into each of my pimples to calm them down! I was also put on a potent dose of regular medication that was known to have side effects like depression and potential damage to my organs – which was why the dermatologist made me undergo blood tests every 3 months to monitor my organ health.
A rebel at heart
Who says makeup has to be Bad for your skin?
Through my research, I had found that there were a shocking number of harmful chemicals in our daily care products that were related to triggering skin sensitivities, causing clogged and enlarged pores and, to my horror – some were even proven to be hormone disruptors and were linked to causing acne outbreaks! It was then that I decided to make the switch to using organic skincare. True to its reputation of being safer and gentler on the skin, it helped stabilise my acne condition and I had healthier skin without causing harm to my body. But, that was not enough for me.
Even though I saw improvements in my skin, my condition could not be completely cured because I was piling on layers of chemical makeup which inevitably caused the acne to erupt again. After a fruitless hunt for authentic, quality organic makeup (and one that actually works as makeup in terms of coverage and color payoff), I decided to start my own line of skin benefiting cosmetics to fulfil my personal need for coverage that heals while it conceals.
Many companies use terms like ‘made with natural extracts’ or ‘contains organic ingredients’ but only add small amounts of these ingredients in their chemical-based formulas. I know how difficult it is to find authentic organic makeup that gives consumers a peace of mind that they can enjoy quality, long-lasting coverage without compromising on their health.
Thus began the exciting journey that I named Liht Organics – a high-performance, premium organic makeup brand that advocates strongly for women empowerment, social well being, and conscious living!

High Performance Makeup
Common misconceptions around organic makeup is that the colors are not visible, and the makeup does not last throughout the day. Our range of products are extremely pigmented, and can last for up to 16 hours. We use it in a range of functions – from daily wear, to photoshoots, outdoor shoots, bridal makeup, makeovers etc.
A Shade for Everyone
Another misconception about organic makeup is that there are very limited shades available. Through the use of botanical extracts and minerals in our formulations, we now have a wide variety of shades across a comprehensive range of products.
